I got a comment on YouTube that made me chuckle
There’s also a great lesson here for anyone building a business…
To set the record straight, I drive a 2019 4-Series that I purchased in September 2018.
The car is paid off, has only 50k miles, and is still in great shape!
I also live in the same house that I bought in June of 2018
Yet my business revenue has grown 10X since then
Why aren’t I driving the latest Porsche?
I am a strong believer & practitioner of the power of compounding.
There is no better investment than my own business.
Instead of buying new cars, a bigger house, boats, watches, & fancy clothes, I bought more franchises.
Compared to the guy in the comments who has one shop and buys a new $70-100k car every 1 or 2 years.
Maybe he’d own 3, 4, 5, or more locations, making 5 times more if he didn’t waste his money on cars?
It’s funny how people equate material possessions with wealth & success.
Like Tai Lopez, who constantly posts with private jets and fancy cars.
He was just accused of running a $100M Ponzi scheme and going to jail. lol
So how do I spend my money?
That’s the wrong question
Money is a tool that determines how you spend your time.
Everyone starts by trading time for money
Clock in. Clock out. Don’t work. Don’t make any money.
Everyone is seeking “passive income” where your money makes you money, not your time.
Investing into the stock market & real estate are popular ways to get there
But a business can blow away all other options
I intentionally built mine so I am irrelevant to the daily operations
This gives me complete flexibility in my time
My family travels almost every month
We just booked a last-minute trip to the Poconos
Later this month, we’re visiting friends in Atlanta
Starting to plan our first trip to Europe in the Spring
That’s what real wealth looks like.
Not a shiny new car.
Cheers!
Brian
P.S. Want my help making yourself irrelevant? I’ll show you exactly who to hire and what moves to make to remove yourself from daily operations.
