6 years ago I owned 6 stores. Each was within 30 minutes of my house.
I was hands-on in everything. I associated my success with my direct involvement. Nobody could do it better than me.
In 2020, I would never have bought this store. It’s 1.5 hours away in NJ. Too far. Too risky. Too much on my plate.
But today, it’s the 13th store we have in NJ.
This is only possible because we built a rockstar team with strong systems and accountability.
I bought my first 2 shops in 2016. We’re targeting $60M revenue in 2026.
I grew so fast after 2020 because I surrounded myself with other high performers.
They challenged me, gave me direct feedback, and helped me see what I couldn’t see in myself.
