The conversation you keep putting off

You know that thing your employee did last week that bugged you?

Not a big deal. Not worth pulling them aside for.

You figured you’d mention it at some point but then three customers walked in, the phone rang, and you had a vendor issue to deal with.

Then they did it again but now it’s becoming a pattern.

Meanwhile, they have something bugging them too. Maybe they feel micromanaged.

They didn’t say anything either (for the same reasons you didn’t).

So now you’re both walking around slightly annoyed with each other.

This is how good teams slowly fall apart. Not from one big blowup but from a hundred small things that never got said.

The fix is almost embarrassingly simple

Most of the friction in your business isn’t a strategy problem or a systems problem. It’s a communication problem.

Two people who work together every day but never actually talk to each other about how it’s going.

Transparency fixes almost everything but transparency doesn’t happen in the chaos of a Tuesday afternoon.

It happens when you create space for it.

The 1-on-1 agenda doesn’t need to be complicated

I’m sharing my favorite format tomorrow inside Cash Flow Club.

See you there

Cheers!
