$850,076 in gross profit

My auto repair business just had a record-setting week.

$850,076 in gross profit (sales minus cost of goods)

Our team has been firing on all cylinders, up 24% YTD

Here’s what changed:

Nothing.

Everyone is looking for something new.

A new shortcut, a new way of selling, or software to streamline.

Our team is focused on the opposite.

We want to become absolutely brilliant in the basics

“The basics” are the foundational parts of every business. For us, it’s how we answer the phones to get more customers in the door

It’s hiring great mechanics who follow a consistent inspection process on every car.

Then, hiring great managers who follow a consistent sales process with every customer.

Believe it or not, if customers have a great experience, they buy more stuff, come back more often, and recommend us to their friends & family!!

It’s pretty basic.

But it’s not easy.

It’s easy to chase new ideas (like towing 🤪). To get bored talking about the same stuff over and over again. To look for the next best thing that’ll make your life easier.

I’ve done that many times and it usually ends up being a distraction

Versus every time we laser-in on the basics, the business improves.

Reply “BASICS” if you want my help installing the playbooks that make this possible.

Cheers!

Brian
