I am an entrepreneur, franchising expert, and investor. At 37, I own a multi-million dollar franchise portfolio. My mission is to help others achieve financial freedom through franchising.
I create free content across social media on how to buy, operate, & scale profitable franchises.
I am reshaping the franchising industry by advocating franchisee profitability above all else. I draw on 15 years of experience as a successful multi-unit franchisee to drive this message.
Owning franchises has changed my life. It has earned me more money and freedom than I ever thought possible.
Franchising is a cheat code. It allows ordinary people like me to build an incredible business by following a proven playbook. I don’t have to create the next Facebook, invent a new product, or solve any new problems.
Franchising allows me to keep it simple and focus on what I’m great at — leading teams & driving sales.
But I didn’t always think that…..
My Franchising Journey
Years ago, I thought franchising was elementary.
A business on training wheels is something you do when you aren’t ready (or able) to play at a higher level. I studied finance and software development in college. My friends were getting jobs at Google, Goldman Sachs, General Electric, Boeing, etc.
I joined my family’s small auto repair franchise business, which was barely making money after the 2008-09 recession.
My dad and uncle were considering selling and retiring. I decided to forgo a fancy corporate job to try to breathe new life into it.
I quickly learned that one of the best parts of a franchise was the nationwide community of other owners. I traveled the country to learn from the best. Over the next six years, I improved our people, processes, and profit.
In 2016 my older brother Chris joined the business. We struck a deal with a neighboring franchisee to buy two existing locations in our market. We created a new entity an got a bank loan to fund the acquisition.
These two shops became the seed that’s grown into a franchise empire.
In 2017, we acquired a third shop, followed by three more in 2018 and 2019. We came out of COVID on fire—purchasing a group of seven in a massive deal to enter a new market. We purchased the original six stores from my dad and uncle plus a few more two single stores.
By the end of 2021, we had 21 franchises. In 2022, we acquired nine more, moving into another sub-market of Philadelphia. In 2023, we acquired three more, bringing us to 33 Midas Auto Repair franchises.
We acquired the franchise rights for That 1 Painter of Greater Philadelphia in 2024. We are building the best painting company in Philadelphia.

Lessons Learned
I’ve made some big mistakes along the way.
This website is full of things I wish I had known 10 years ago!
Here is the biggest one: focus on less, then obsess
I chased so many shiny objects. Within my business it was new people, new pay plans, new services, new products, new vendors, new pricing schemes, new marketing, new equipment, new locations, and more.
Outside of my core business, I had other businesses, trading stocks, options, crypto, passive Amazon stores, section 8 real estate, hard money lending, real estate syndications, and more.
While the new stuff was fun, it was short lived and never delivered the results that I dreamed of
Then every time I double down on the boring fundamentals of my the core business, we get results
When I say “focus on less than obsess,” I’m talking about narrowing your attention to a few critical aspects of your business then pouring all your energy into them
Instead of spreading yourself thin trying to do everything, pick the most important things and become exceptional at them.
