How I invest my cash

In 2018, I invested $50k in buying an auto repair franchise.

It produced over $350k+ in cash flow the next year

I used that money to buy 10 more shops in 2021, which now generate over $14M in revenue.

The best investment I’ve ever made is my own business and it’s not even close

So that’s where my money goes first, in this priority:

  • Buy existing Midas shops
  • Buy real estate under our shops
  • Buy competitors that we convert into Midas

The problem is I can’t always deploy it fast enough.

Most sellers aren’t ready. Landlords don’t want to sell until they’ve got a replacement property. Some deals take 6 to 12 months to come together.

I’m not letting cash sit idle in a checking account.

Here’s how I deploy it outside of our own business:

I invest 40% into stocks, 20% in real estate, and save 10% in cash/life insurance.

The remaining 30% goes into alternative investments

Weird stuff like coffee farms, wedding venues, firearms insurance, senior care, junk removal, oil & gas, private lending, & more.

I run through a “deal checklist” before I write a check on any of them.

I’m sharing this checklist plus a breakdown of a recent $100k deal I did inside Cash Flow Club today at 2pm EST
