The $285,233 day

Last Saturday, my shops set a new company record: $285,233 in sales.

I remember back in 2016, $12,000 was a great day between my two shops.

I couldn’t even imagine doing $120,000, let alone $285,000.

But I kept growing, buying more shops and pushing what we thought was possible. We cracked $25k, then $50k, then $75k. The first $100k day was huge.

Now our next milestone is $300,000.

Here’s what I’ve learned looking back.

You don’t get stuck because you did the wrong things. You get stuck because you kept doing the right things for too long.

Being on the floor was right at $12k a day. It built the business.

Then, being on the floor became the wall. The right move was getting into the office and building systems.

Eventually, personally running the systems was the wall. The right move was hiring leaders who could run my systems.

Now, I’ve got massive leverage with an entire team.

The systems we have in place today will get us to $400-500k in a single day.

Remember, the things that worked yesterday are usually the things keeping you stuck today.

The only way you’re gonna move forward is by being proactive in identifying & fixing them.
