Someone calls out, “Hey, man, is that turf?!”
It’s the owner of a commercial landscaping company
He happens to be working on a new project that needs turf.
So we exchange numbers
Funny enough, he was the SECOND lead we got from the same lunch
The first guy ran a local church.
Getting a turf quote for their courtyard was on his to-do list this week
So we swung by the church two hours later.
It’s an easy job. Probably $5k done in 1 day
This is what I love about the artificial turf business
You can literally just walk around with a piece to strike up conversations
As long as you don’t mind other people giving you funny looks!
