This was an existing Midas shop in a great location on a major road, corner lot, right down the street from new development of a Chick-fil-A, Shake Shack & other big retailers.
We negotiated a win-win seller-financed deal that reduced our up-front cash payment and gave the seller a reliable monthly payment.
The store is currently doing ~$20k/week in revenue
Our goal is $30-40k/week once we put our processes in place:
- Performance-driven comp plans
- Digital vehicle inspections
- Tire inventory + focus
- Direct mail marketing
Franchising gives business owners like me the best of both worlds.
I get the benefits of a brand name, support, and community while still running the business as I want.
This allows me to create tremendous value by implementing our “flavor” of operating.
This is how we can acquire stores and immediately improve the cash flow.
It’s not like real estate with fixed returns.
If we execute as planned, we’ll get all of our cash returned within 6 months, and the existing business will pay the note (plus incremental cash flow).
Cheers!
Brian
