It all started in 1982 with the Tint World® name and concept to provide revolutionary-renowned, top-of-the-line window tinting service. With a passion for cars, and a vision to create a first-class window tinting service, the first Tint World® was born in Tamarac, Florida.
Tint World® quickly grew its window tinting concept from tinting cars, trucks, busses, boats, homes, offices, and buildings. As a result of increased popularity and demand, Tint World® began opening new Tint World® Centers in South Florida.
In 2006, Charles J. Bonfiglio, who was part of a well-known international auto repair franchise, had a vision to develop an auto accessories franchise, and believed that Tint World® would be the perfect concept to re-formalize into a franchise system. Bonfiglio pursued and completed the acquisition of the Tint World® brand, and established Tint World, LLC with its corporate office in Boca Raton, Florida to create a world-class Franchise Headquarters and Training Center.
Today, the “Tint World® Franchise System” is revolutionizing the Automotive Accessories and Window Tinting concept that started back in 1982 with over 200 locations open or in development and a target for 600 franchise locations in North America, and has become a “world-class place” for drivers to bring their vehicles for quality products and services that protect and personalize their rides, homes and buildings.
Tint World® Automotive Styling Centers™ has become America’s largest and fastest growing auto styling and window tinting franchise; specializing in window tinting, protective film, vehicle wraps, audio and electronics, security systems, car and truck accessories, wheels and tires, detailing and ceramic coating, maintenance, and installation services.
Tint World® Residential and Commercial Mobile Services™ operations include applying window films, tinted films, solar energy saving films, protective security films, decorative films, graphics films, perforated films along with providing other residential and commercial products, auto maintenance, and installation services using specialty work vehicles.
We have changed a great deal since our humble beginnings in 1982, but one thing that has not changed is the premise that we treat our customers like family and friends, because if we do that, we will create long-term relationships that stand the test of time. We have seen customers and their families return to Tint World® for generations, and look forward to serving families for many more generations to come.
